Wednesday, November 15th, 2011

Well it's hard to believe it's Wednesday again already!  Well what's on my Work Desk? WOYWW   (go check out the list and see whose making a mess today over at the delightful Julia's from Stamping Ground!)

I've been busy, busy doing torn paper pet potraits.  The orders have been coming in rapidly since I created Wendell for the Humane Society Auction last week. I have to admit that I love doing them though.  Lots of fabulous doggies I just want to smooooch.  I haven't had a kitty order yet but I'm hoping to do one soon too!  On my desk a work in progress, his name is Brewski and I hope to have a nice picture of him as a finished piece of art to share for Paint Party Friday, if my canvas order ever gets here.

As you can see working with torn paper is a messy job!

I was also putting the finishing touches on a sweet Asian lady mini canvas I am painting as a holiday gift  for a Secret Santa exchange among the staff of  ATCs for All (which I am happy to be part of.)  I can't show you a close up just yet since it is a "Secret Santa" gift, so she's just peeking out of the top left corner of my table.

I hope your Wednesday is wonderful!  For Wordless Wednesday Create with Joy and Wordless Wednesday Cookin for My Captain and Animal Wednesday here is a picture of Brewski my model for this weeks pet portrait commission, he is so ugly, cute I can't stand it!  I feel so fortunate a commission to create this lovable fella!

It's snowing hard in Hood River today, our first day of snow and it's coming down at a rapid pace and sticking!  It's so beautiful, isn't the first snow of the year the most special!  I also just saw a hummingbird at my feeder, snow and hummingbirds are not a common combination to be sure!

I really appreciate your visit and hope you'll come again!  I love my followers!

That picture is amazing - such a real likeness. The actual photo of him reminds me of a tv actor but I cannot think of his name at the moment. Thanks for sharing with us at WOYWW and thanks from me for putting your number it makes it so much easier - Hugs, Neet #9

That torn paper is so clever, looks just like a painting. It seems crazy that you are talking about snow falling and I am sweltering in 30 deg heat. I just love that your desk is messy, the best way to create and have fun.

Amazing....you have a real gift! That is just fantastic I must say! Who would have thought you could do that with torn paper?
The first snowfall of the season is beautiful but by February I'm so over it! LOL Thanks for visiting I know it is a very busy time of the year! You have yourself an awesome week!

For being number 1 this week, I'm awfully late visiting. I'm so sorry I'm late, but, after a computer crash I had to stop by and get a bit of inspiration from your torn paper art. And your dog is actually quite handsome. Sorry to read about all that snow.
