Free Your Heart , Stop making Judgments

Einstein was such an amazing fellow.  Well I don't need to tell you that, but his theories and ideas were so far ahead of the pack!  I recently read a quote of his that exactly emphasizes the point I'm trying to teach  my 12 Year old Son who has an IQ to rival Einstein's (He says to me the other day "I don't think Einstein's theory about energy is correct.  Someday I'm going to prove it.")

So these are my thoughts for Six Word Saturday.  A thought process I need now more than ever after having just gotten back from a visit to family.  I noticed on this trip that my family was very judgemental.  They don't say a lot directly to you about anything, but you see the frown, the tightening of a lip etc.  You know that statement is being made later, but more importantly I could feel and see myself doing it as well!

So my goal is to teach my Son by example not to judge other people!  To find the beauty in each and every person and an appreciation for how they have chosen to live this life.  Our family lives very differently than most so we will always be looked at in a fish bowl of sorts.  He's used to that and thrives on his uniqueness, for that I am thankful.  Einstein's Quote, well it says it so much better than I ever could!

Oh I didn't forget Diana's Sweet Saturday Blog Hop either!  Here's my contribution for Sweet Saturday!

Just a little fun pup in a cup I created on a coaster one afternoon.  Awwwww!

Thanks so much for stopping by!  Happy, Happy Saturday to you!

Oh Oh I almost forgot, tomorrow is 1 month since I started my blog!  My goal was to have 50 followers in my first month so if you aren't following , make my day and sign on to follow!  I promise to work hard to keep you interested!  THANKS... HUGS!

interesting post. I must admit I'm naturally judgemental so I have to work at not being that so much.

Cute pup on a cup!

I always take just the opposite tack; always tell My Beloved Sandra: 'People Are Idiots.' I don't say it judgementally, but it's clear to me that no matter how allegedly 'smart' one is, there's always plenty of opportunity for them to show just how low, mean, or downright stupid they can be.

An aquaintance recently made a crack about feeling like the being "the smartest kid on the 'special' bus." It hurt me to have to remind her that we're all on the same bs together.

People are idiots.

A timely, thought-provoking six this week. Thanks

I could've written this post. That's one of my favorite quotes. And my parents were just here for a weekend. The judging... Oh, the judging... I try so hard to live with an open mind and accepting the choices made by others. It was such a rude awakening to be around so much ignorance and fear.

I'm glad that you keep an open mind, despite their judging. And I'm even more glad that you're teaching at least one member of the next generation to do the same.

Thanks for playing 6WS.

I wish your son a life of acceptance for his genius mind. At least the ability to understand others who can't handle it. LOL

Love the quote, cartoon and your little dog in a cup!

Einstein wasn't so smart in the end. He died of an abdominal aeortic aneurysm that he would not let be repaired. He'd rather take a chance on living despite its getting worse than on the repair. In those days, 1955, repair was cutting the rupturing artery out and sewing in a rubber hose.

Some still do that today. I have a one that was repaired by the insertion of a stent graft which they were not doing in his day. Not everyone is a candidate for that yet today.

Paste this link to read of his death.

Information regarding his choices were according to my cardiologist.

Best wishes on raising your intelligent son!
