WOYWW September 26

Hi WOYWW friends!

It's been literally a month of Sundays since I've been here to share my studio space and I have to admit I've missed you all but ...if you'll forgive the but.....I spent two fabulous weeks immersed in the Manhatten Art Scene and it was exciting and inspiring to say the least!

Here's my desk today, slightly straightened up because I just finished creating "Mr Pibbs" from hand torn paper.  I've scanned him so I can add him to my paper pets greeting card line and now I'm just trying to decided what type of canvas or background I want to add him to, to finish him up.  He's been entirely created from hand torn paper (Chigirie) which is my preferred medium if you haven't stopped by before.

Mr. Pibbs

After returning from New York I became a whirlwind in the studio creating and painting.  Here are a few new things from my studio over the last couple of weeks.

Mixed Media "Wish upon a Star"

WIP - Marilyn from hand torn paper

Acrylic Painting "Tang Dynasty Horse"
I'm happy to be back and excited to see what's happening in your world!  Happy WOYWW! Thanks Julia for hosting this romp.

Happy Belated WOYWW. I am taking another trip around whilst I have the house to myself. I love your Pet Portraits and other artwork so much. They are fantastic. I went to New York back in 1990 and really want to take my hubby one day - a wonderful city. Ali x #62
