First I want to apologize to those I didn't get to visit last week. My best laid plans got way laid by a virus and I didn't get to nearly all the wonderful posts that I wanted to. I sure am looking forward to seeing everyone's art this week!
So here's what I did this week:
I painted an unconventional monkey with unconventional tools (a hair pick, a wire sponge, and my fingers.) I've been working on this technique from a DVD by the wonderful artist Marshall Arisman.
Truth and Knowledge |
I created a somewhat creepy altered altoid tin for a creepy circus people altered art exchange
Greedy Bastard |
and the majority of my week was spent putting the finishing touches on Samson, which you all are pretty sick of seeing from minute change to minute change but he is finished and went in the mail to his home in Hollywood.
Thank so much for stopping by for Paint Party Friday hosted by the most wonderful Kristen and Eva.
Happy Weekend!

Wow, you've really been creative! The monkey is amazing - what a great technique. The altoid tin is totally creepy and absolutely fabulous all at the same time! I love the title!
As for Samson - we had a wee yorkshire terrier called Sampson when I was young - he is adorable and, as always, you did such a fabulous job!
