Paint Party Friday March 29th

It's time for another Paint Party Friday!  I swear the weeks keep going faster and faster.   I've spent most of this week working on a commissioned pet portrait of Samson.  He is still a work in progress but very nearly finished.

Here is my WIP of Samson created from torn paper. I think he's coming along nicely.

WIP - Commission Samson

What else is going on this week, well I started this new workout regime called Brazilian Beach Body.  I am determined at 46 to get back into my bikini this Summer, on the beach, not just in my hot tub and the back view needs a bit of work (okay the workout is really called Brazilian Butt Lift...LOL.)  I saw it on an informercial and decided that I could do it in the next 60 days if I really worked hard.  I'll keep you posted and maybe even post a photo after 60 days if I make respectable progress and anyone actually wants to see me in my bathing suit!  I have to tell you I hope it's working because my legs and booty are really sore today from all the work!

I've also been preparing for a huge competitive tennis tournament in April.  I'm thoroughly addicted to the sport and have been playing competitively for about 6 years since I learned how to play. I captain a team of 11 ladies.

So there's a little peek into my world that isn't art because most of the time it's all about the creative process that feeds my soul and of course my two fabulous guys and 4 amazing doggies.

Thanks for visiting for Paint Party Friday hosted by the fabulous Kristin and Eva.  I look forward to seeing what you are creating this week!

Love the idea of a Brazilian butt. I'm going through workout torture too as I attempt to get back into my summer wardrobe.

Your pet portraits are so clever and just keep getting better and better!

Oh, Samson. We used to have a dog named Samson. Your portrait looks great and your exercise regimen is an inspiration. I have done way too much sitting this winter!!

Your torn paper portraits are amazing and a mystery to me. You have a great talent. I played tennis and loved it. I gave it up because it was hurting my joints. I have a friend who is 78 and still plays competitively. It's a great sport.

Your torn paper art is fabulous Robin, well, hey all your art is! It was a real treat to hear about your bikini plans and tennis; it just made you seem so much more like a friend. Just thought i'd tell you a funny thing i did....on fb i see 2 Robins and i told the other one i admired her art....she didn't say anything so maybe she's an artist too, who knows but you know i meant you.

You are really getting into the fitness regime. I found it easier to just give up on the bikini.
I have tagged you in my last post (31/3), if you want to play come on over for the rules, don't worry about it if you are really busy.

You know how much I love your doggies! I am sure you will look good in your bikini anyway. enjoy the tennis and careful you don't hurt that arm again. LOL

Another stellar portrait. I am just blown away by how perfectly you capture the dog's expressions.

I have seen the Brazilian work out, but haven't tried it. I am devoted to Billy Blanks Boot Camp. I believe that man could whip pure Jello into shape.

The dog is amazing and adorable--seriously he's perfection.

And good luck with your new exercise program.
