For Paint Party Friday this week I'm sharing two different versions of  pastel paintings that I created last year of Little Nell/Columbia from the Rocky Horror Picture show.  I loved going to Rocky Horror when I was in High School and I've seen two live productions since then that were just fantastic.  How about you, did you use to go "To the late night, double feature picture showwwww?

Hope you like them! Thanks for visiting.

Happy Paint Party Friday! Follow the link above and stop by to see a list of participating blogs.

Really cool, it's like day and night versions of the same lady! Glad to see a fellow pastel user as well~ Awesome work!

Thanks for visiting my blog btw!
But I must say; it's not a "she", but a "he"... ;)

Nice! You're doing the story, too. :) I love both ladies. They are so similar and so different at the same time. Love the use of warm and cold colors. :)

Both of your paintings are beautiful. Since I'm easing out of my purple "period" and into my orange "period" I am leaning toward the second one as my favorite.

Amazing how different they are due to their colouring. Cool blending effects.

I recognized Nell right away, before reading anything. Great portraits. And yes, I spent many an October Saturday night at the late night Rocky Horror showing.

It is very cool to see the variations - I love the vibrant colors! (I was just at the local video store and they had "Rocky Horror" playing on their televisions... what a weird coincidence... I wonder what it means...)

fantastic! My sister, my cousin and I had an annual vacation ritual of taking in the midnight rocky horror show when our families converged. I played that soundtrack (LP of course) to death and still know every word to every song.
